We completed a backyard installation in Medford, where the client requested an edit to beautify the yard, as well as fix up the back of the driveway. They desired to make a safer and more aesthetically-pleasing landing from the back door to the yard.
Before we started, the grass was nearly completely dead with scattered plantings along the perimeter. Old mossy pavers lined the left side of the property where the lawn met the garage and driveway.
In coordination with our designer, we created a new, healthier landscape where the client will want to spend more time with family and friends, as well as their multiple dogs. The new stone steps from the back door replaced a small wooden porch. At the bottom of the steps is a brand-new patio that’s perfect for chairs and a table. The perimeter garden bed has a more distinguished appearance, with new plantings of various sizes, colors, textures and bloom times. The lawn was replaced with sod, and the asphalt driveway was replaced with gray pavers and a charcoal border.
